Why Choose SWE for Your Project?

Whether you are an engineer tasked with product development or a procurement professional sourcing reliable suppliers, you may encounter a host of challenges throughout the custom parts manufacturing and collaboration process. Partner with SWE, and we’ll help you eliminate these unnecessary hurdles, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

Integrated Supply Chain | Efficient Communication | Reliable Delivery

Customer's Dilemma Mold, injection molding and CNC need three separate suppliers. Finger-pointing, endless follow-ups and delayed deliveries are exhausting.

Superior Quality from the Outset | Hassle-Free Collaboration to the End

Customer's Pain Point Frequent defects like warping, sink marks and off-size parts with unknown root causes. High scrap rate raises costs and endangers product reliability.

Prioritize Total Cost Optimization Over Unit Price Alone

Hidden Cost Headaches Low upfront mold quote leads to poor molding efficiency and high scrap rates, resulting in much higher total cost. Hard to control overall production expenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Project lead times are contingent on technical complexity; however, our standardized workflow ensures predictable timelines for all new engagements:

  • Quote Delivery: A detailed, professionally reviewed quotation will be provided within 24–48 hours following submission of your final design documentation.
  • DFM Analysis: Design for Manufacturability assessment is executed within 2–3 business days to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Injection Molding: First-article samples generated from newly fabricated tooling are typically available within 7–15 days.
  • CNC Machining: Lead time for initial component production can be shortened to 5–7 days to accommodate time-sensitive project requirements.

Our engineering team is equipped to process a broad spectrum of 2D and 3D design file formats. For optimal manufacturability analysis and tooling development efficiency, we prioritize 3D CAD files in STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs) or Parasolid (.x_t) formats, as these enable seamless data transfer and minimize translation errors. Native SolidWorks, Pro/E, UG(NX) files are also compatible. To define critical geometric and technical specifications, we require supplementary 2D drawings in PDF or DWG formats, which must clearly delineate dimensional tolerances, thread standards and surface finish requirements.

Yes, we provide professional DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis free of charge for all potential projects. Our engineers will review your design for structural rationality, moldability, wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, and cost-saving opportunities. A formal DFM report will be sent to you for confirmation before tooling or production.

Yes, we offer one-stop solution: mold design & manufacturing, injection molding, CNC machining, prototyping, assembly, and surface treatment. We can support from prototype to mass production, ensuring consistency and cost efficiency throughout the project.
